My Serena and Lily Patio & Favs

This space has been a work in progress over the past two years. From starting with just dirt to creating a cohesive, functional, and beautiful retreat for my family to enjoy. It has honestly been a dream come true and I’m excited to team up with Serena and Lily to furnish some of this patio space.

Prior to our concrete installation we planned for a large gazebo to be the central spot for our family to gather together and lounge. We knew we wanted some form of hanging bench or chairs. When I learned Serena and Lily had just come out with outdoor hanging chairs I knew they’d be perfect for the space. I love the high contrast from the wood tones of the gazebo to the white texture of the hanging chairs. No hanging chair is complete without a comfortable pillow.

Serena and Lily has so many gorgeous pillow covers to choose from and the vast majority of their outdoor covers can also be used indoors. I finally settled on the Montecito pillow which is 24″. The added tassels and thick texture give it a much more substantial feel making it perfect as a bed euro pillow, or accent pillow in a living room.

Here’s a few before and afters of the patio space.

My Serena and Lily Faves.

For all things costal and classic, while being very on trend. Serena and Lily is a site I am constantly searching and shopping for timeless, quality pieces to add to my home. Here’s a long list (sorry, I couldn’t pick just a few), of my Serena and Lily Favs!

1 | Montecito Pillow: the texture, the tassels, the overall weight of the pillow is absolutely stunning. And it comes in 3 colors, white, navy, and coastal blue. 24″ in size and perfect for a 26″ insert. Best part is it’s versatility. It can be used outdoors or indoors. This beauty will be on rotation from my bed as a decorative euro to my patio hanging chairs.

2 | Hanging Chair: Serena and Lily have three versions of their hanging chair. A natural and white color made for indoors spaces like a playroom or bedroom, and one version which is suitable for outdoors on a porch or patio. We all know there’s nothing more relaxing then swinging slowly on a hanging swing and the egg shape gives me all the feels.

3 | Hammonds Wallpaper this subtle grid double lined plaid pattern is to die for! It was the main inspiration for my powder room. Pictured below is the wallpaper in the color sand, but it now comes in a darker grey called smoke and in a navy!

4 | Teak Stool: I’m sure you’ve seen this all over IG and Pinterest, and for good reason because it is a stunning stool which combines practicality and beauty.

5 | Summerland Outdoor Lanterns: Indoor or outdoor these woven lanterns make the perfect statement piece to a dining space or outdoor retreat. They come in a variety of sizes and shapes and even tones.
