Daily Kids Checklist

Back to school means trying to establish some routine for my littles. It also means an influx of emails and new expectations from their teachers. This alone has my mind spinning attempting to keep them straight. Instead of constantly rechecking emails to figure out their 5 different logins for online portals, I simplified things and added it to their daily checklist.

I have a whole blog post linked above that goes over how my kids chores work using zones. These zones are assigned an area to clean. After an amount of time, they rotate areas to teach them how to responsibly clean all the spaces in a home. There’s even an editable printable on the post.

For the Daily Kids checklist I took that same template from the zone chore charts and edited it to fit my kids daily needs. The lists are simple, but I want my kids to have some accountability to make sure they’re ready for each day.

These charts are separated into 2 columns. The left side include home tasks that need to get done, while the right side is homework focused. I included a spot to sharpie or wet erase marker in their spelling words so everyday they are looking at them.

At the very bottom I included a spot for their user names and passwords for their online learning.

— I like to laminate our lists so wet or dry erase markers can be used. Here’s my go to laminator and markers.

** I do have these sized to print as HALF of a page of paper. Feel free to resize to your need.

Hopefully these are helpful for your littles as you try and establish a more fluid routine and comment below if you have any tried and true suggestions on what works well with your kids!
