As the house gets closer and closer to completed, I’m getting so excited to decorate every room. One of those rooms being the Primary Bedroom. As I was looking around for inspo, I found my DREAM BED. Bad news? It’s absolutely far from my dream price. I think I’ve come up with a way to build it myself, just like I built my last bed, but since I’m a little busy with the new build, that project will be low on my to-do list (but stay tuned!).

In the mean time, I found so many other incredible bed options that are beautiful AND affordable. I even found a couple that are going to be fairly similar to my inspiration bed.

Canopy Beds

While looking for similar beds to my dream bed, I came across the DG Casa Isla Queen Metal Canopy Bed. It has a metal base instead of the wood base, but it did have a similar headboard. And for a fraction of the price, I think it could be a great contender!

Another option, with a similar cross canopy top, is the Dextrus King Size Canopy Bed Frame. It doesn’t have the same upholstered headboard, but it’s still beautiful.

I found other canopy beds that don’t have the cross canopy, but they’re all great options with beautiful details. For example, this Walker Edison Modern Metal and Wood Canopy is under $250, and has a very sleek look. The wooden headboard makes it sturdy and elegant, while the metal canopy gives it the beautiful frame.

Other Great Beds:

Alaterre Furniture Arden Panel Wood Queen Bed – This bed has a beautiful wood headboard with a simple, shiplap-like design. Very timeless, yet, stylish.
Boucle Fabric Upholstered Platform Bed Frame – For under $300, you’re able to get yourself a boucle fabric bed. I see these ALL OVER TikTok, but they’re always ridiculously expensive. With Walmart, that’s not an issue.
DG Casa Vandermark Queen Bed Frame – Solid Wood – This is the perfect mix of wood and upholstered. The shape is unique, and will definitely be the focal point of any room.

No bedroom is complete without all of the other furnishings and decor. While on the hunt for a more affordable option for my dream bed, I found SO many incredible pieces. From bedside tables, to wall art, I found it all.
