My Favorite Shampoo & Conditioner for my Hair:

In general I like to switch my shampoo every 3 or so months. I feel like once my hair gets used to a shampoo and conditioner it stops “working as well.” I don’t know if there’s a real science behind that or not, but that’s just what I’ve always done. I’ve gone back and forth between expensive salon hair care products and just your regular big box store care products and didn’t notice a significant difference between $$$ and $.  That being said I am lately loving the Heritage line.  It’s clean ingredients and very affordable.

Length Check Hairitage Shampoo & SOS Deep Moisture Conditioner

My Current Regimen:

Hairitage Restart: This is a cool new product I found to help if you have a lot of buildup in your roots.  It works wonders on Jillian which gets very oily very quickly.

Body Envy Hair Spray by Herbal Essence: I keep going back to this time and time again because it works! It holds my curls, while still letting me run my fingers through. It smells delicious.

OGX Renewing + Argan Oil: Love this to spritz in before or after styling. I try to avoid my roots and focus on the ends to keep them from looking dry.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: Only when I’m really trying to revive dirty hair.  On clean hair days 1-3 I try to avoid extra product.  But this dry shampoo by far does the trick at adding volume, removing oil, and making look fresh again.

Boar Bristle Brushes: I like this one help distribute oils throughout and stimulate your scalp and new hair growth.

Wet Brush paddle: for me personally, I feel like this brush is too soft to my thick hair, but my girls won’t use any other brush besides this.

Gimme Medium & Light Fit Pony Tails:  I’m telling you now, once you try these pony tails you won’t go back to any other.  The hair ties  hold your hair, don’t pull it out, and feel comfortable around your wrist.

Bio Ionic 10x 1” straightener: This was recommended to me by my hair gal.  She uses it on all her clients and I love it because it
1. Heats super fast
2. Curved edges that make curling your hair a breeze
3. Hair glides through the plates smoothly
4. The plates VIBRATE which prevents hair damage!
I’ve had mine now for almost 2 years and I think its worth the $$.  Currently 40% off!

Bedhead Waver: tried and true! I have had mine since high school and tried other 3 barrel wavers and this one is by far my favorite.

Hair Care… for the body

I am a big fan of laser hair removal, but even with laser hair removal there are times you still need to shave.  I joined the Billie Membership years ago but was a little overwhelmed with how many refills I was getting and of course would forget to go online and change my subscription.
Luckily, the now share the Billie line at Walmart so I can get refills added to my Walmart Grocery order or swing by and pick them up when I’m running low.

Billie Razor Kit: razor + magnetic mount & 1 refill: This razor gives the closest shave from other razors I’ve used, and the mounting system helps preserve the razors glide strips from getting stuck on your counter. It’s a pretty ingenious design.

Billie Whipped Shaving Cream: No weird smell, plenty of moisture to help the razor glide.  I’m a fan.

Billie Body Buffer: I bought this for the first time a week ago and already know it’s going to be a staple.  Use it on your body like a bar of soap, but the little beads in the bar exfoliate gently (not like other bars I’ve used that feel like my skin is going to all come off).
