One of our favorite things to do from April through September is dine outside. There’s just something about the fresh air, country music, and the smell of the BBQ that just gives me all the feels. I also knew we needed to upgrade from our 4 seater tiny table that has to be secured down during stormy nights for fear of it blowing away to something more substantial and sturdy. This we selected some sturdy, solid pieces from Article.

Why article

If you haven’t heard of article yet let me tell you the perks of shopping with article.

What we chose.

We opted to go with a mix of modern and natural elements to give the outdoor space some life.

Atra Dining Table

The Atra dining table is a solid 1″ concrete top that is HEAVY, I mean 2 people+ to carry it heavy with the most gorgeous tapered Acacia wood leg and table base. The wood tone is not orange, and not dark but the perfect light, rich wood tone. The table seats 8 comfortably and with the top being concrete you don’t have to worry about sun damage, spills/stains, or weathering as long as you seal the concrete periodically. It is 30″H x 94.5″W x 39″D, but also comes in two smaller sizes if you don’t have room for this long of a table.

Noir Dining Chair

The Noir chairs are probably my favorite of the three items because their unique curved rattan arms and legs make these chairs a showstopper. The seat and back feature a woven synthetic binding that is really comfortable to sit in and looks beautiful, and they are currently on sale!

Svelti Dining Armchair

Since we are a family with young kids I opted for very kid friendly and inexpensive chairs for the rest of our seating, and the Svelti chairs fit the bill. They are modern and made of a polypropylene with metal legs. They wipe down easily and come in a wide variety of colors. Plus did I mention they are only $69, and come in an armless version for $59!

Overall, we’ve been really happy with the ordering, delivery, and quality of our pieces and excited to spend these upcoming summer nights in this dining space.
