I bought the Beginner Basics course last spring as a birthday gift to myself. Fast forward 4 months and I finally had the courage to start. Christine’s lessons are so well laid out and simple to understand that anyone, including this 56 year old, can pick up a power tool and feel confident using it. I love that I can go back and review specific lessons over and over when needed. I haven’t finished the course yet because I was so excited to start my first project. I built my new workbench all by myself. Hubby was told specifically that he was not allowed to help. Ok, he held a few boards in place, but I did all the hard stuff. ;) I am so proud of myself and can’t wait to finish the rest of the lessons. I’m already thinking about purchasing the Kitchen and Bath Basics course. Thank you Christine!

I loved how everything was in one place! It was broken down into different categories, which then has videos to go along with each tool or task and links of the tools or materials needed. My husband would say I am the least crafty person but I’m so glad I took the leap of faith and just started! Since completely redoing our half bath it gave me the DYI bug! DYI remodel/projects have been so fun and given me a hobby!

I didn't know if I should buy this course, since there are quite a few things I knew. We have all the tools, since my husband did carpentry with his dad. He hates it by the way! I'm intrigued. I learned in 2010 how to lay flooring. I've since then laid laminate flooring in 5 bedrooms. Tiled our shower. Our bathroom floors, etc. But I want to learn to build things. Cabinets, furniture, etc... and even with doing all those things, this course still had stuff that I didn't know or even a different approach.

Nothing big here but I cut some boards with the big scary chop saw and I did not faint from fear! I put together a picnic table using a leg "kit" and it turned out great! Now I have a tiny bit of confidence we will see whats next! The videos really helped me have confidence in power tool use.

If you want to get into DIY this class is perfect. It has such knowledge and experience. It’s like having a best friend who knows everything in your pocket. The videos are super helpful and I love that I c an pause and rewatch as many times as I need. With what I learned I was able to design and build banquet seating for my kitchen dining area all on my own.

Christine does an amazing job in this course. Her program is broken up into lots of short segments which is great when you need to refer back to something. She starts very basic-like navigating the hardware store so you can go in with confidence. I treasure this course and am so grateful I took it!

I had completed a few DIY projects before starting this course, but I had never created anything I was very proud of. I purchased this course in hopes of finding some tips that would improve my skills but it has done so much more than that. This course has been a lifesaver for me to tackle projects in our basement renovation. While I had some skills when I bought this course, it because what I constantly go back and refer to when I am trying to figure out what paint to use, or what tool to use or the tips and tricks that Christine shares throughout this course. It is so worth the money and will become your constant resource! I have also bought the kitchen and bath course but haven't gone through it yet as we haven't demo'd the bathroom yet, but it is coming! Christine is such an amazing resource, I purchase all of her resources and can't wait for her app to come out as well!

To say Christine changed my life is an understatement! 🤣 Seriously this course taught me sooooo much! Basic power tool use, what is what 🙃 and what they’re for. Basics on painting, staining, wood filler, caulking etc. Everything you need to know to get started and how to start. My favorite part was when she takes you shopping to home depot and goes over where things are and what’s what!! Home Depot used to be so intimidating! Christine’s course gave me the confidence to use power tools to build this bed for my nephew! She did an amazing job in explaining things in a way that made it simple enough for me to learn! So much in this course. I've watched videos over and over. Will be starting my kitchen pantry cabinets this week. The only thing that I was hesitant on were building doors & drawers. I have built several basic boxes and have put shelves inside for storage or book shelves. But I want pull out drawers and her tutorials are giving me the confidence I need.
