We are in the THICK of building our house and the last 6 months have been, well, MESSY! There’s sawdust, exposed rebar, and weeds galore. There’s been so much behind the scenes planning including tile selections, flooring, cabinet layouts, lighting placement, home automation, window coverings, and landscape design. I’ve had several moments of I want this to all hurry up and get pretty and many more moments of relishing in the process. The one and only time (I think) that we will be building a house from the ground up. So when I read a DM that said “you should take family photos in your unfinished house!” I said YES!!

Family photos can be SO STRESSFUL, especially planning outfits that coordinate that everyone looks good in. Since we were doing the photoshoot in literal saw dust and dirt I wasn’t going to fork out $$$ on expensive dresses. Can you believe this dress I’m wearing is under $30 and on Walmart?

Girls Outfits

Jessica Simpson’s new line on Walmart is so cute! Both my girls are wearing matching jeans + flowy tops. I even snagged harper a few of her other outfits because they were under $25 and included jeans and the top.

Boys Outfits

I love a good button up for boys, especially at under $15 a shirt! Jamison’s is from the Easy Peasy Line which its a soft linen which is perfect for a moving toddler.

Men’s Outfits

I can’t wait until we can recreate these photos in the FINISHED spaces of our new home.
