Plan a project, project planner pre-sale!

Wow. That’s a lot of P’s. But all jokes aside this planner has been the biggest labor of love. Last fall I started my journey in creating this project planner. I spent months looking through hundreds of planners to see what style was most applicable to planning out DIYs.

I created mock up pages in Canva and used them for a few weeks. I even got as crazy as to buy spiral bound and covers from amazon and was going to attempt to manufacture my own planner. Once that crazy idea was gone, I reached out to a graphic designer who took my basic pages and turned them into THIS!

We then had a few hiccups trying to print it. Costs were astronomical for just a basic spiral bound, no hard cover, no pockets.  It just wasn’t the quality I was looking for so I looked for overseas manufacturers who could make this a reality. I received my sample in the mail and was BLOWN away! Seriously blown away. The quality, the detail, the pockets.  This guy is worth $80 easy, but of course I personally wouldn’t buy a planner for that price so I made sure it’s affordable!  You can save $10 off your project planner by pre-ordering. Shipments to go out in July!

Patio Furniture

Patio furniture tends to sell like hot cakes in the late spring so before everything was out of stock I snagged a new patio set, accent pillows, planters, and more from Home Depot. You can find all of the links here.

Sunshade: Coolaroo Roller Shade. We use ours on the side of our pergola to supply shade when we are lounging on the patio. But in the evenings, we also use it as a projector screen when we do summer movie nights. We opted for the lightest color so the movie will show up clearer, but there are a few different color options.

Home Gym

Our home gym still isn’t completely finished, like there’s still only primer on the walls, but it’s fully functioning.  For a complete list of what we fit into our 9′ x 8′ home gym click here.

Ergatta Rower – You can use my code HBH50 to get and opt for self assembly to save a few hundred off this rower.

Navy Hair Care

Pebble Beach texture spray – there’s honestly not a day that I can go without it! It makes ALL the difference in my hairs flat, heavy boring self to blow out volume!

Kids Vitamins

Looking for a tasty kids vitamin that isn’t packed with sugar and fillers? Check Hiya! My kids have loved these chewable tablets.  Code- Honey for 50% off your first order.

Disneyland Favorites

Last week’s trip to Disney was a BLAST!

We took family group pictures in Corona Del Mar. Excited to get those images back to share with you. Bought day passes to Great Wolf Lodge, and spent the other 4 days inside of Disneyland.

Our favorite hotels, what we pack & more can be found here.

Disneyland Travel Tips

A few new things I also have loved:

Waterbottle Cross sling: This one is more sleek and less dorky looking. Still has a pocket for keys/gum/phone. Fit my 40oz water bottle without any issue.

Raw Linen/Artifact/White Opal Water Bottle Crossbody Bag

Scallop Hem Align Leggings: I may or may not have these in 3 colors – maroon, green, and black.  They usually come back in stock in the fall in the 7/8 length. Currently they have the 25″ which is like between capri and 7/8. Super flattering.

Black lululemon Align™ Scalloped Hem High-Rise Pant 25"

Align 8″ short with pocket: Summer’s new best short. Longer length doesn’t feel like booty shorts, but also isn’t going past the knees. Has 2 pockets.

Red Merlot lululemon Align™ High-Rise Short with Pockets 8"

Everyday Belt Fanny Pack/Crossbody: It fits literally everything you need. I got this greenish/gold color, but there’s 10 other colors and patterns to pick from.

Bronze Green Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap

My favorite shoes...ever

I am not a shoe person. I actually hate shopping for shoes because I am flat footed with a mild bunion and comfort is always the utmost importance… but when I find something I like… I am all in.

I literally own 10 pairs of these. excessive? Probably. But I was super fearful they would stop making them and I would be back to trying on hundreds of shoes for ones that hit all my needs.

Mark Nason’s like of Sketchers.  yeah I said sketchers.  They are incredible.

No laces, slide on, comfortable to wear even walking 10+ miles around Disneyland multiple days in a row. Stretchy, breathable. Try them for yourself.

Replace your own Faucet

Faucet Install Tool: The only real tool you need to swap out your bathroom or kitchen faucet.

I also rounded up my top faucet picks from Kohler here

Laying Luxury Vinyl Plank

A full blog post is COMING for luxury Vinyl Plank. We opted to use Audacity Flooring in the color Sandpoint.

Hearing Aids

One of the best things to come out of our California trip was setting my mom up with hearing aids.  For the last 9 years she has struggled with hearing loss.  She stopped hanging out with friends because in public settings with lots of people talking she couldn’t HEAR what her friends were asking. Over the years I’ve noticed it getting worse, and once I learned that hearing loss has a huge correlation to dementia, I knew we needed to get her set up.
